Getting Started
What is Pproma?
Pproma is a platform that connects everyone involved in getting a print job made — the person who needs it printed, and every professional or business whose work turns it into a finished product: prepress/design, printing, lamination, creasing & folding, binding, numbering, die-cutting, packaging, logistics, and paper, board or printing-stationery suppliers. You post what you need, receive proposals from real professionals, assign the work, and track it through to completion — all in one place.
What roles can I register as?
Client / Project Author, Prepress / Designer, Printer, Lamination Provider, Creasing & Folding Provider, Binder, Numbering Provider, Packager, Delivery / Logistics Partner, Paper / Board Supplier, Printing Stationery Supplier, Mechanical & Repairman, and Die Cutting Provider. You can select more than one role at signup — for example, a business that both prints and binds — and set your specializations within each one (which printing processes you offer, which binding methods, and so on).
How do I verify my account?
After you register, we send a verification link to your email. Your account activates automatically as soon as you click it — there's no separate manual approval step. If the email doesn't arrive (check spam, or it may have expired), you can request a new one from the sign-in page.
Why can't I see other members yet?
Only accounts that have verified their email appear in the Members directory and can be assigned to projects. If you've just registered, verify your email first — you should see other members immediately after.
Posting & Working on Projects
How do I post a project?
From your dashboard, choose "Post a Project", describe what you need (printing type, paper/material requirements, quantity, delivery type and deadline), and publish it. Professionals in the relevant trades can then send you proposals.
How do proposals and assignment work?
Interested professionals submit a proposal on your project. You can accept a proposal to assign that person or business to the job, reject proposals you don't want, and assign more than one member to the same project if it needs several trades — for instance a printer for the press work and a separate binder for finishing. Anyone assigned can withdraw their own proposal, and you can remove (unassign) someone if needed.
How do I track progress on a project?
Each project has a stage tracker (e.g. Started → the trade-specific production stages → Completed) that the assigned member updates as work progresses. Stages can be jumped ahead but not undone once reported, so the record stays a reliable account of what's actually happened. You and everyone assigned can also message each other in the project's own chat, and share files as attachments.
Can I pause or cancel a project?
Yes — the project author can put a project on hold or cancel it from the project page. Everyone assigned is notified either way.
How do ratings work?
Once a project is marked Completed, everyone who worked on it — the author and every assigned member — can rate each other, once each. Your rating shown on your member card is a running average across every project you've completed, and finishing on or before the deadline counts for a little extra toward it — so it reflects more than just what people typed into a star picker.
Paper Stock & Printing Material Marketplace
How do I buy paper or board?
Browse Paper Stock listings from verified suppliers, add what you need to your cart, and check out. If you'd rather ask a question first — about a custom quantity, a spec not listed, or anything else — send the supplier an enquiry instead of ordering directly.
How do I list my own paper or printing material stock?
If you're registered as a Paper/Board Supplier or Printing Stationery Supplier, "Add Paper" / "Add Printing Material" on your dashboard lets you create a listing — specify the material, specs and pricing, and it becomes visible to buyers on the marketplace. You can edit or take a listing down any time from "My Paper Stock" / "My Printing Material".
What's the difference between an order and an enquiry?
An order is a direct purchase of a listed stock item at its listed price. An enquiry is a message to the supplier — for a custom quantity, a question about the spec, or anything that doesn't fit a straight checkout. Suppliers see both from "My Paper Stock" / enquiries, and can respond directly.
Members, Connections & Messaging
What's the difference between "connecting" and "messaging"?
You can message anyone directly. Connecting is a mutual, accepted relationship — like a professional network — and some features (such as ordering paper stock from a specific supplier) are only available once you're connected with them.
How do I find members in a specific city or specialization?
The Members directory lets you filter by role, state and specialization, or search by name. Each card shows their role, location and rating, and you can message, call or connect right from the card.
Can I control who sees my profile?
Yes — in your Profile settings you can set your profile visibility to Public (any logged-in member), My Network (your connections only), or Private (only you).
Billing & Plans
Is there a free trial?
Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial with full access. Once it ends, you can still browse and message, but posting new projects and sending proposals is paused until you choose a plan — everything you've already posted stays exactly as it is.
How much does a plan cost?
Pricing is set per role, and shown with current rates on the Pricing page — visit it any time from the account menu ("Billing") to see monthly, six-month and yearly options for your role. If you hold more than one role, combined multi-role pricing applies.
Where can I see my payment and plan history?
Billing History (in the account menu) lists every payment and any manual adjustment made to your account's expiry — including the reason, if an admin ever gifted extra time or corrected a billing error.
Will I be reminded before my plan expires?
Yes — you'll get a notification and an email 7 days before, 3 days before, and on the day your plan expires.
Your Account & Profile
How do I change my city, state or country?
Edit them from your Profile page — three linked dropdowns, so picking a country narrows the state list, and picking a state narrows the city list. If your city genuinely isn't listed, tick "My city isn't in the list" and type it in; it appears on your profile right away and is sent to an admin to add properly, at which point it switches over to the picked list.
Can I have more than one mobile number, or share one with another account?
No — each mobile number can only be used on one account, checked regardless of how you format it (with a country code, a leading zero, spaces, etc.). If you need to change the number on file, update it from your Profile page.
How do I change my profile picture?
Upload or remove one from your Profile page — until you add one, your card and profile show a plain initial instead.
Can I deactivate my account?
Yes, from the bottom of your Profile page — you'll be asked to confirm your password first.
Notifications
What will I be notified about?
Proposals received, accepted, rejected or withdrawn; being assigned to or removed from a project; project stage changes, holds and completion; connection requests and acceptances; paper stock enquiries; new ratings; support ticket replies and status changes; and account-level changes an admin makes (like your role or plan expiry). You can review everything from the notification bell, and mark items read as you go.
Support & Complaints
How do I report a problem with a project or another member?
Raise a ticket and choose the category that fits — Account, Billing & Payment, A Project, Another Member, Technical Issue, or Other. If it's about a specific project or a member you're connected with, you can attach that directly to the ticket so we have the full context immediately.
How do I check on a ticket I've already raised?
"Support" in your account menu lists every ticket you've raised, its current status (Open, In Progress, Resolved or Closed), and the full conversation. You can reply any time — replying to a Resolved or Closed ticket automatically reopens it, so nothing you add gets missed.
What do the ticket statuses mean?
Open — raised, not yet picked up. In Progress — an admin has replied and is working on it. Resolved — an admin considers it handled; you'll get a notification either way. Closed — confirmed done, either by you or by an admin.
